Of course, progress on this issue was interrupted by the election campaign,
but Judith is already back on the case. She contacted Norman Baker (re-elected)
again today, asking him: "could you ask [this question] when parliament is
reconvened?"
By return (less than 2 hours), Norman Baker assured her of, "progress
when we get back on track in Westminster"...
Mind you, we're still waiting...
Norman Baker MP, Liberal Democrat spokesman on the environment, will be
asking the Government, "What is the cost to the Health Service
in terms of asthma and other illness caused by pollution from dirty
fuels?"
Judith Brooksbank went to the Spring Conference of the Yorkshire Liberal
Democrats in February 2005 along with Kaneez Akhtar and James Keeley.
She raised this issue - and Norman Baker promised to ask the question in
the House.
The Conference was an upbeat occasion with all the traditional good humour
and family feeling of Liberal Democrat conferences. The party is
looking forward to the General Election and confidently expects to win
more seats in the region

Unfortunately, that's hard to prove.
The checker linked above, for instance, fails almost every page on the site,

to be warnings about issues that have been taken into account.
