Tony Blair promised in 1997 that everyone would be able to go to an NHS
dentist. But in many parts of Keighley this just isn’t possible.
Ajaib Hussain, who moved to Keighley from High Wycombe, had to make the 220
mile trip back there to get dental treatment! He told us,
"I just couldn’t register with a dentist in Keighley and I was in
agony." He has now managed to register in Thornton, not very near,
but a lot nearer than High Wycombe.
Zulehka cannot go to the dentist because her mother has not been able to
register her with one
We aim at the highest possible accessibility standards -
WCAG 1.0, AAA and WCAG 2.0, level 3 (with valid HTML).
Unfortunately, that's hard to prove.
The checker linked above, for instance, fails almost every page on the site,
but when I follow up the "faults", so far, they have all turned out
to be warnings about issues that have been taken into account.
