At a meeting of the whole Constituency Party, Nader Fekri was unanimously chosen as
our candidate for the next General Election.
Nader was our candidate last time around and trounced the leader of the BNP who
tried, but failed dismally, to make fools of the Keighley electorate.
Nader lives 'just over the hill' in Hebden Bridge, but just ask him about Keighley:
he'll wax lyrical about our Carnegie Library - and much more. The guy loves
this town!
After far too long we are tidying up some of the loose threads around the
website and thinking of adding some new sections too. Until we reach
a full consensus, I'm not committing myself in public, but please do drop by
every so often to see what's going on.
We aim at the highest possible accessibility standards -
WCAG 1.0, AAA and WCAG 2.0, level 3 (with valid HTML).
Unfortunately, that's hard to prove.
The checker linked above, for instance, fails almost every page on the site,
but when I follow up the "faults", so far, they have all turned out
to be warnings about issues that have been taken into account.
