HOW TO alter default browser display fonts

Here is a list of links to pages that explain how to alter the default display fonts in some of the available browsers. Since I use mainly Mozilla Firefox and Opera, I have written instructions instructions for those, plus the one version of Internet Explorer that I have (IE6 as supplied with Windows XP). Instructions for other browsers are being contributed by others. We've all tried hard to make them accurate, but accept no liability for errors or omissions (though please tell me about any mistakes you find, with details of exactly which version and OS you are using, thanks. If there are errors, I want to fix them.)

If you can provide more instructions for other browsers and/or operating systems, please do!

The specific versions used to prepare instructions are shown, but I hope that different versions of the same browser are likely to work in a similar way. If you know better, please get in touch.
