Some of our members are working to open a local branch of Liberal Youth, an organisation
that is seperate from, but associated with the Liberal Democrat party.
The objectives of Liberal Youth are to: represent Liberal Youth members to the Party;
promote Liberal Democrat policies amongst young people and students; and to develop and
train its members.
Membership is open to sympathisers who are either students (no age limit) or under 30 years
old. To join Liberal Youth, simply join the Liberal Democrats, pay the concessionary
fee of £6 and make sure they know your age. If you are from 26 to 29, you need
to say you want to join Liberal Youth, if you are 25 or under, as long as the party knows
your age, you'll automatically be enrolled in Liberal Youth.
